Ateneo de Zamboanga University (AdZU) is a private, Catholic educational institution, administered by the Society of Jesus (Jesuits), located in Zamboanga City, Philippines. Founded in 1912 as a Catholic School, it has evolved into a recognized university in the Mindanao region. The university offers education at the undergraduate and graduate levels in various fields such as the arts, human sciences, business, law, social sciences, theology, and pure and applied sciences. It is noted for its programs in law, human sciences, business and social sciences. AdZU has a total student population of 3,402 undergraduate and 230 graduate students.
